In Room Technology & Amenities

  • The Kitchen is available for guests in a limited manner and is designed to be shared. Guests have access to a toaster, microwave, and shared refrigerator. Used dish-ware/flat-ware and trash should be put in marked bins.

  • Guests enjoy free coffee and tea service 24/7. The Terra Kaffe machine provides espresso, specialty coffee drinks and single serve coffee in an easy to use touch screen system. A variety of Harney and Son's teas are available for guests to use with the Fellow water kettle next to the stove. Please let us know if there are any issues or you need assitance

  • Guests enjoy free breakfast items on Saturday and Sunday morning from 8:30am -10:00am. Guests can expect seasonal fruits, yogurt, oatmeal, and rotating surprises from the hosts. Self-serve coffee, espresso and tea are available in the kitchen 24/7.

  • Wine is available at times in the wine fridge and marked "on the house" to be shared by guests. Guests can write their name on any alcohol stored in the wine fridge to denote which items belong to which guests. Please do not keep wine in your room to avoid spils.

  • We offer snacks, beverages and merchandise for purchase online or in-person purchase by credit card or cash. This is a trust-first agreement with guests and we assume that any items taken will be paid for.

Dining

  • Firewood is provided on the screened in porch along with lighters, fire starters and roasting sticks. Outdoor blankets are on the porch for guests to use. Outdoor fires must be fully extinguished before guests retire for the night. If you need assistance or our staff is on property, we'd be happy to set up a fire for our guests.

  • The Barn lower level is available to guests as a social space to enjoy. Guests should be respectful of their noise in the barn after 10pm and are expected to leave the space tidy for other guests. Guests should be advised that the barn is not yet heated in cold months, but can be made available for guests willing to brave the cold. For private event inquiries, please ask your hosts!

  • The Garden is open to guests to explore and enjoy. The garden is active and growing - please do not disturb the plant life or walk over the garden beds. Little ones must be accompanied by an adult at all times in The Garden.

  • Enjoy yard games and sports equipment for fun activities in the yard:

    • Corn Hole

    • Bocce Ball

    • Badminton

    All items must be returned to the storage bins and put back for other guests to use. Lost or stolen items will incur a fine.

  • Borrow a book from our library during your stay! Please be mindful of other guests when in the library and keep phone and video calls to a minimum when sharing the space

Amenities

  • Check in time begins at 3:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am. Interested in early check in or a late check out? You can extend your stay for a small cost, just let us know!

  • Silas House is a smoke free property. Therefore smoking is not allowed in any public area, grounds or guest room. If you'd like to smoke, you can do so in the parking area at the side of the house. All cigarette butts must be disposed of and evidence of smoking or e-smoking in prohibited areas may result in a $750 cleaning fee. 

  • Due to our communal environment, we do not allow pets of any kind. We love animals too (ask about our cat), but some guests may suffer from allergies or conflicts that can't be avoided.

    We do accept qualified service dogs - Read about ADA guidelines for details.

    • 100% of payment is refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier

    • 50% of payment is refundable when canceled 15 days before arrival or earlier

    • 0% refundable if cancelation is made 14 days before arrival

  • Quiet Hours:

    To respect the peace and tranquility of fellow guests, we ask that you be mindful of noise between the hours of 11pm-9am.  

    Town of Lexington Noise Ordinance:

    We observe the local noise ordinance limiting excessive noice outdoors after 10:00 pm

  • Guests enter in the second entrance of the circle driveway and follow the signs to the parking area on the right side of the property. Please do not park on the driveway or in unmarked areas. Security cameras are used in the parking area for your safety.

  • Complimentary travel cribs available upon request

  • Guest rooms will be set with fresh towels and linens for your stay. Short stays will not receive housekeeping service. Additional towels are available upon request
